In Barcelona, our international team (200 employees) provides
Technical Support Services for a multinational IT company.
We are looking for Network Engineers in order to strengthen our Network support competence centre in Barcelona, Spain. You will be working in a dynamic multicultural environment
dealing with European customers.
Your mission will consist in gathering the problem description, troubleshooting in order to identify the faulty part, triggering all corrective actions to fix it, updating the customer on regular basis. You will mainly work on: - Switches : HP Procurve, Cisco Catalysts, Extreme Summit/Black Diamond - Routers : Cisco - Firewalls : Nokia/Checkpoint, Juniper Netscreen, Cisco Pix - Loadbalancers : CSS Cisco, Foundry, Nortel - Proxies : Bluecoat
Job Requirements: Good knowledge of several network domains such as LAN, WAN, WLAN, security and have successfully passed a certificate such as CCNA, CCSA or CCNP.
Good knowledge/understanding of ITIL process.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Customer oriented. Fluent English mandatory and knowledge of other languages would be appreciated (German, French or Swedish). Ability to work flexibly under high pressure, set priorities and work as part of a cross-functional international team.
Highly autonomous as well as keen to make suggestions, "you are capable of working alone as well as part of a team". Strong ability to work independently and take initiative.
